FINALLY THE  RAIL CROSSING SIDEWALK!

It was finished sidewalk, in the length of 40 meters in the street, `Vojvode Gojka` in the Palilula Municipality. This location visited Prof Dr Igor Novakovic president of Palilula Municipality and Slavoljub Savic, head of Municipal administration associate. Finally solved the problem of security of pedestrians, mostly high school students and students of the Faculty. Interior sidewalk in the street `Vojavode Gojka`, stretching from the pedestrian crossing to the rail crossing that separates this street and the street `Jug Bogdanova` many years has been a problem for many governments and competent enterprises. In this area, the traffic is very busy and it is particular a large number of pedestrians, students of  high school `Svetozar Markovic`, Home of Students, Faculty of Occupational Safety and Faculty of  Sport and Physical Education, located in the immediate vicinity. On the initiative of a number of citizens Palilula Municipality asked from Administration for Communal Services, Energy and Traffic of  the City of Nis that in urgent procedure provide conditions for the solution of this problem.

“We wanted to increase the security on this road and provide basic conditions of pedestrian movement in urban space, paving of sidewalks at this location that did not existed-" said Prof Dr Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality. This part of the settlement was due to unregulated infrastructure been an eyesore of the city and municipality. In particular, it is visible during large storms and after melting snow. It is particularly important that with this investment, worth around 500,000 RSD, reminds Novakovic, we improved security in traffic.
